A special trip to the heart of westernSicilia , in an elegant 5-star resort converted from an 18th-century mansion, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. We will visit unique places such as the salt pans of Marsala, the medieval village of Erice and the historic city of Trapani. We will also learn about Sicilian flavors with tastings and a creative workshop on ceramics.
But most of all, it will be a week to experience Italy and Italian together with Teacher Stefano and Prof. Mascia, among the Italian language, new friendships and many emotions!

Day 1
Welcome to Sicilia!
Welcome to Palermo, the iconic city of Sicilia and all of Italy. We meet at the Palermoairport to take our private bus to our hotel and check in. Now we can get some rest after the long journey before we meet for dinner and get to know each other.
Day 2
Italian lesson and tasting
Good morning students and students! See you for a nice breakfast and afterwards we will have our first Italian lesson ! Stefano and Mascia have prepared some amazing and fun activities to improve in Italian!
After the class feel free to eat a little something at the hotel restaurant and then meet in the afternoon for a wine and oil tasting of the property's own production . This is the perfect way to sample the true flavors of Sicilia.
Afterwards we can get some rest before dinner! Don't go to sleep too late because we have a beautiful trip tomorrow!
Day 3
Salt pans and pottery workshop
Wake up male and female students! Are you ready for a visit to the Salt Flats? Do you know what they are? They are the place where salt is produced and processed! We will take a walk through the salt flats with a guide. We will be able to observe the colors, smell the smells. It will be beautiful! Just think, we will also have a salt tasting ! How special!
After a free lunch, meet us for a pottery workshop and you can paint your own tile so you can take it home as a keepsake.
Now it's time to go back to the hotel for dinner and bed. See you tomorrow!
Day 4
Cooking class and Italian lesson
Male and female students, good morning! After a nice breakfast, are you ready to have a cooking class? We will learn how to prepare traditional Sicilian dishes and then have lunch with what we have prepared. We will be great at it!
After lunch, meet us in our meeting room for another Italian lesson with Stefano and Mascia! We have many more things to learn!
After class we can rest a bit before going to dinner and talk about all the good adventures we are having!
Day 5
Erice and Trapani
Wake up students and students! Let's have breakfast a little early today because we have to leave for two incredible cities: Erice and Trapani.
Erice is a charming medieval town perched 750 meters above sea level with a beautiful view of the Egadi Islands. And here you can't miss the world-famous almond paste sweets typical of Sicilia are delicious!
Then we will go to Trapani to discover the beautiful Baroque churches and elegant palaces.
We will spend the whole day with a guide who will explain everything we see, in Italian!
Now it is time to return to the hotel and go to dinner. See you tomorrow!
Day 6
Last lecture and special dinner
Good morning male and female students! Ready for our last Italian class? We will do more fun activities with Stefano and Mascia.
Then we have the whole afternoon free to do what we prefer. Relax in the room, a walk around the facility, or perhaps a glass of wine at the bar! Take your pick!
I will then see you tonight for our farewell dinner. It will be special!
Day 7
Breakfast and final greetings
Good morning!!! Our journey ends today. We are a little sad but happy about this beautiful experience.
The time has come for breakfast and then we will check out.
Our private bus is waiting for us to take us back to the airport in Palermo. But this is not goodbye, it is just goodbye. See you soon on another trip!

What is the schedule of the trip?
II daily schedule of the trip is given on this page. However, a detailed itinerary will be provided prior to departure that will include class schedules, meals, sightseeing and free time. II trip schedule may be subject to change.
How is it possible to pay for the trip?
È possibile pagare la caparra confirmatoria con carta di credito. II resto del costo del viaggio sarà diviso in due rate e sarà possibile pagarle con carta di credito.
When do I have to pay the deposit and the two installments?
Puoi pagare la caparra confirmatoria a partire da domenica 26 luglio, se compili questo form puoi accedere alla pre-vendita e avere accesso 3 ore prima degli altri. Dopo che avrai pagato e che il viaggio sarà confermato, dovrai pagare le altre due rate. Le rate saranno divise in questo modo:
- Per la camera singola, dovrai pagare la prima rata di €2039 il 25 aprile 2026, la seconda rata di €1360, il 25 agosto 2026.
- Per la camera doppia, dovrai pagare la prima rata di €1439 il 25 aprile 2026, la seconda rata di €960, il 25 agosto 2026.
Is the deposit to lock the place refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable. Only in case of trip cancellation by the organization or if the trip is not confirmed, we will refund 100% of the deposit. For this reason, we recommend that you wait for our confirmed travel email before booking your flights. Please note that the deposit for these trips is €300 per person for double room and €400 for single room.
I can no longer participate in the trip. What should I do?
Email hello@teacherstefano.com and we will tell you how to cancel the trip according to our partner agency's cancellation policies. Deposit and installments already paid are non-refundable. So for example if you have paid the deposit and first installment and decide to cancel the trip before paying the second and third installments you will not pay the second and third installments but you will not receive a refund of what you have already paid. If the organization cancels the trip, a full refund will be granted. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance in your country.
Is travel and medical insurance included?
No, but we strongly recommend travel and medical insurance before you go.
Is the flight included?
No, transportation to Italy is not included.
How will transportation be handled during the trip?

I am traveling alone but booked a double room, how does this work?
We will assign you a double room with another travel companion of the same gender. This is a great way to meet new people who share your passion for Italy and Italian.
We are a couple and want to stay together in a double room. Is this possible?
Yes, of course! You will be able to specify during purchase your preference to share the room with your partner. PLEASE NOTE: Remember that this is a study trip, so you can only travel with another person if you both study Italian and share a passion for Italy.
I am a vegetarian, vegan or have allergies. Can I participate in the trip?
Of course. Before the trip we will send you a form to fill out with special requests that we need to indicate to the facility.
Are there any age limits?
No, just be over 18 years old!
I don't want to participate in some activities. Is it possible to receive a refund?
We are sorry, but it is not possible to receive reimbursement for specific activities.
What kind of documents should I have before leaving?
Because our students come from all over the world, depending on the country you come from, there may be different laws about entering Italy. So it is your responsibility to assess whether you only need a passport to enter Italy or whether you also need a visa or other documents.
Who will be my other traveling companions?
You will be traveling with others who, like you, are passionate about Italy and studying Italian. Before you leave, we will give you access to a community to start getting to know your fellow travelers.
Will I receive materials before and during the trip?
Of course! Before the trip we will give you material to repeat some useful Italian topics and learn more about the land we will visit with interesting information. During the trip, you will also receive lots of useful materials for classes.
