Francesco

Foreign languages have always been my passion-or maybe obsession!

After years of study, I decided to turn my passion into my job, to help more and more people learn Italian in an easy and, above all, fun way.

What do I love most about my job? Meeting amazing people from all over the world, connecting with new cultures, and teaching my beautiful language in a relaxed and playful way. The best moments are those spent laughing and chatting with my students during our classes.

Giulia

As a child, I dreamed of traveling and discovering the world. So as early as high school, I started studying foreign languages and never stopped.

I love my job because it always allows me to meet new people and share with them my passion for studying and for the Italian language. Teaching for me is fun and motivating, it feeds my curiosity and allows me to enrich myself and grow every day together with my students. And now here I am, together with Francesco, to carry on our passion for languages and teaching!

Here we are in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance and one of the most beautiful cities in the world! A fantastic way to start our trip! We meet near Santa Maria Novella Station to catch our private bus and get to the villa right away! The trip is about one hour. When we arrive at the villa, we will check in and can get some rest after the long journey. Then we'll meet for dinner to enjoy toscana cuisine, get to know each other better, and toast this incredible journey!

Good morning male and female students! Let's start the day with a nice breakfast overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hills. Be sure to drink a nice coffee because we have a great Italian class with Francesco and Giulia ahead of us that will keep us busy all morning.

In the afternoon, we can enjoy a nice tasting of local wines, cheeses and oil at La Palagina. Can you believe it? We will drink wine in the vineyard where the grapes used to make that wine come from! Unbelievable! The villa staff will explain everything to us (in Italian of course) so we can understand even better the fantastic art of wine making.

Now it's time to get some rest. Want to take a nap in your room? Walk around the Tuscan hills? Choose your favorite activity and then we'll all meet again at the restaurant for our second dinner!

Wake up male and female students! The bus that will take us to Volterra, a small town in Toscana about 500m above sea level, has just arrived. Volterra is famous for its Etruscan and medieval art andalabaster, a fine stone that has been worked here for centuries. Our guide will tell us all about Volterra (in Italian of course!) and we will really feel like we are in the Middle Ages!

After a quick free lunch, we are ready to go to an art workshop and discover painting on wood with natural colors. Theartist will explain everything in detail and then we can work on our wood pieces. This will be a great souvenir to take home!

Now it is time to go back to the mansion. We can get some rest and then go to dinner together! We will have a lot to talk about!

Male and female students, good morning! Are you ready/ready for a traditional toscana cooking class with a chef? Today we learn how to make panzanella, the focaccia toscana and pappa al pomodoro. Don't know any of these dishes? Don't worry! These are typical toscana dishes, extremely authentic but above all poor! In fact, toscana cuisine is very much based on the culture of recycling, that is, using simple and genuine ingredients and leftovers to build tasty dishes. Don't worry because the chef will explain everything in detail.

But aren't you hungry now? After all we have cooked, it istime for lunch, so we can all sit down together at the table to eat what we have prepared.

After some rest, see you all in the classroom for our second Italian class. There will be lots of fun activities but no spoilers! After class, some free time and then, as always, see you for dinner!

Chicchirichì, the rooster is crowing! It's time to wake up to visit one of the most beautiful parts of Italy: Chianti, known for its picture-postcard landscapes of rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. We will visit three beautiful villages, off the usual tourist routes: Greve in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti and Monteriggioni.

After a beautiful day in Chianti, we return to the villa to rest a bit and have dinner all together! See you tomorrow.

Good morning students and students! Today is our last Italian class, we are already sad. Again we have lots of activities to do. We will have a lot of fun!

After our last class, we have the afternoon free in the villa. You can eat a little something in their restaurant, go for a walk, see the animals on their farm, or relax in your room. Do whatever you like!

And now, at sunset, it's time to go to dinner at one of the most magical places in the villa, the Boschetto Room. It will be an incredible experience. Wine, music, Tuscan food, and lots of conversation among friends.

Good morning!!! Our journey ends today. We are sad because it is over, but overjoyed because we did it. We will always carry this beautiful experience in our hearts.

It's time to have our last breakfast overlooking the Tuscan hills and then take our private bus back to the Florence station where we can say goodbye, but we hope to see you soon for a new adventure with your favorite profs!
