What are we going to do together?

Monacelle Estate

Our adventure begins in Bari, a city full of history and tradition. From here, a convenient transfer will take us to Tenuta Monacelle, a special place surrounded by nature, with traditional trulli, masserias and a beautiful cherry orchard!
After checking in, we meet for an Apulian aperitivo with prosecco and friselle, a typical Apulian snack.
The evening will continue with a leisurely dinner. It will be the perfect way to relax and prepare for a week full of discoveries!

Good morning male and female students! It's time to have a nice breakfast and a cup of coffee, because at 9:00 a.m. sharp we meet in Belvedere Hall for a great Italian class. We are going to have a great time!
A unique activity awaits us in the afternoon: a cooking class on Apulian cuisine! We will learn how to prepare traditional dishes such as orecchiette, cavatelli, strascinati and taralli. So hungry!

Good morning!!! Today we can sleep a little longer because our day starts at 11:30 a.m., when we will leave for a beautiful trip.
Our first stop will be Cisternino, where we will attend a special demonstration: the preparation of mozzarella. Afterwards, we will enjoy a light lunch with a selection of typical products such as fresh mozzarella, ricotta, burratina and other local delicacies.
In the afternoon we will travel to Martina Franca, famous for its Baroque architecture and traditions. We will visit an olive mill to discover the secrets of olive oil production and participate in a small tasting. Then, we will take a walk through the historic center, among alleys and squares that seem to have come out of another era.
The day will end with dinner at a typical restaurant in Martina Franca. After dinner, we will return to the hotel to rest, ready for the next days' adventures!

Very good morning! How are you doing? See you at 9:00 a.m. for another beautiful Italian lesson always in the Belvedere Room. We will really do some amazing activities today!
The rest of the day is completely free, so we can do whatever we like: a nice walk, have a glass of wine or chat with our fellow travelers.
We end the day at dinner, a perfect time to share our experiences so far.

Good morning male and female students! Ready for another beautiful excursion? Our first stop will be Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, famous for its white alleys and flowering terraces.
We will then continue to Monopoli for lunch and a stroll through the old town, past ancient churches, quaint little squares and the quaint harbor.
In the afternoon we will visit Polignano a Mare, a real gem on the Adriatic Sea, known for its cliffs and breathtaking views. Here you can take memorable photos and do some shopping!

Good morning!!! At 9:00 am our last Italian class starts. Today we will do more wonderful activities.
After the class, enjoy the free afternoon at the facility because the evening will be unforgettable.
At 6 p.m. we will participate in an Apulian market organized inside the facility. Here we will be able to discover traditions, artifacts and ancient peasant customs, accompanied by music and dances typical of the region. Afterwards, we will conclude with an aperitif and a typical Apulian dinner, with authentic dishes and local wine.

After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Tenuta Monacelle and prepare for our return. After checking out, a transfer will take us to Bari, where our journey will end.
Although it is time to leave, we will take with us the memories of a special week. A trip that will remain in the hearts of all of us.

Tenuta Monacelle Estate houses within it an old village with original trulli dating back to the 1700s. Trulli are conical structures made of stone typical of Puglia. Trulli tend to be cool in summer and warm in winter. Because they are original old structures, there is no air conditioning. Only some trulli have heating instead. In those without heating, there will be space heaters to use to warm the room. All trulli have the original furnishings and have a bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and shower. Staying in a trullo will make your Apulian experience truly authentic!
